lavenderstar (link to image source) basics name • lavenderkit - lavenderpaw - lavendernose - lavenderstar age • 38 moons gender • male sexuality • homosexual clan • shadowclan rank • leader appearance allegiance • lean blue-gray and white tom with golden eyes full • lavenderstar is a lean tom, with long legs and a narrow face. he looks like he would be more suited to the windclan moors, but his blood is thick with shadowclan heritage. his fur is primarily a blue-gray, absent of any sort of tabby markings. the gray fur is broken up by white patches along his face, neck, and legs. his eyes are an intense golden shade, bright against the muted tones of his coat. personality + Personable Lavender is a social cat, always ready to talk and share tongues will all members of his Clan. He is certainly not closed off in any way, much preferring to spend time with others rather than stick to himself. He certainly doesn't live up to the heartless and cold-hearted stereotype of his Clan. + Quick-witted Lavender's true strength is in his mind, where cleverness and wit reside. He has a sharp tongue and sarcastic sense of humor from it, but he is an excellent strategist and planner. He's still young, though, and can make foolish decisions, but his ability to reason and plan for the future and around his enemy is the foundation of his leadership. Unfortunately, while the potential is there, he often lets his emotions take control in the heat of the moment. + Confident Lavenderstar just oozes confidence, with the way he holds himself and the way he talks. Everything he does is done with sureness, even if it is something completely mouse-brained. Any insecurities he may face or hesitation is tucked neatly away, and he faces everything with a shit-eating grin and raised head. His confidence can get the better of him, of course, but typically, it helps him handle what comes to him and keep a steady paw on his Clan. After all, if he was indecisive, then how could he be a foundation for ShadowClan? - Arrogant A problem that Lavender has always had. He considers himself, quite frankly, to be the best. He often bites off more than he can chew, and has always had an inflated sense of self-importance. He typically doesn't regard failure as an option, and while this can certainly be beneficial in tough situations, it can also lead to impulsive and unnecessary actions that could be avoided. - Hot-headed Sometimes borderline aggressive, Lavender tends to let his heart impact his emotions whenever he's not in planning mode. He's clever and scheming enough during important decisions and anything else that requires his attention, but in regards to social relations, he can be easy to insult and headstrong. Once again, reminiscent of a young warrior, something that Lavender never truly grew out of. - Closed off Not necessarily distant, as Lavender is a social butterfly, but he often keeps more sensitive feelings tucked away. Insecurities, fears, doubts, these are all things he keeps bottled up, which can put a huge strain on him when these things build up. Close friends may get to relieve some of these stresses, but sometimes they get relieved through bouts of aggression. etc. etc. (can be fun facts, likes/dislikes, neutral traits, etc) = = = relationships mother: lilytail • grey she-cat with green eyes, alive father: snowbelly • white tom with yellow eyes, deceased sister: mallowberry • white she-cat with green eyes, alive sister: jasmineclaw • white and black she-cat with yellow eyes, alive apprentice: tinybark • small black tom with golden eyes, alive history ME @me: make this more detailed Lilytail and Snowbelly were sweethearts from their apprenticeship, starting up a relationship as soon as they both were warriors. Kits were not a huge priority of theirs, and it wasn't until many moons later that they finally had a litter to call their own. They gave birth to a son and two daughters, shades of white, black, and gray. Mallowkit, Jasminekit, and Lavenderkit. As a kit, Lavender certainly took his role as the leader of his sisters. They complained that he was bossy, but he never stopped leading them around on kit adventures around the camp. His confidence shown through even at this young age, the kit seeming to think he could take on the world and receive not a scratch. Lilytail hoped he would grow out of this mindset, but Snowbelly assured her that it was nothing to worry about. They were good and supportive parents, Lilytail a bit overbearing, but they both loved their kits more than they had expected. Lavender was apprenticed to an older warrior named Frogchaser. He wasn't fond of the old she-cat, for she was just too serious and was certainly not appreciative of his very clear talents. While she also did not enjoy his overbrimming confidence and dismissal of needing any sort of practice, she was able to begin developing his talent for strategy and planning. She certainly helped shape him into a strong warrior, but the pair never truly bonded. They still talk, though, with a sort of love-hate relationship. During his apprenticeship, Lavender's father, Snowbelly, passed away from an illness. Lavenderpaw did not take the death very well, but he kept his grief bottled up. This frustrated his sister, Jasminepaw, who felt that his lack of displaying grief was from a lack of caring for the death of one of their parents. Their relationship became strained, and Lavenderpaw soon snapped at her, the pair starting a fight in the middle of camp. They were able to be quickly separated without any true injuries, but their relationship hasn't mended since then. Mallowpaw tries to play a mediator between the two, but their stubbornness prevents them from making up to each other. The fight delayed his apprenticeship by a moon, but Lavenderpaw didn't mind. He knew he was ready to be a warrior, and being held back did nothing to diminish his confidence. Jasminepaw was off-put by this, though, and began to work even harder as though she had to prove herself. Lavendernose took to his warrior duties with vigor, his talents as a ShadowClan warrior already obvious despite his young age. This certainly didn't help his arrogance, and he set his sights to leadership. What better position for the best warrior of the Clan? So he worked even harder, and was soon rewarded with an apprentice. Tinypaw was his name, a nervous little thing. Lavendernose, while doubtful of the little tom at first, turned out to be just what the young apprentice needed to find his confidence. Where Tinypaw started the apprenticeship as meek and withdrawn, he ended it with fiery bickering with Lavendernose. Lavender focused on his warrior duties again after Tinybark's graduation, and the current deputy, Shrewbite, was suddenly found dead in the middle of ShadowClan territory, seemingly bitten by a snake. Lavendernose was thrilled to be elected as the new deputy, and while he knew it was awful to think, he knew that the current leader, Stormstar, was old and would retire soon. He served as deputy for 10 moons before Stormstar finally retired while on his last life, moving to the elder's den to later pass away in his sleep. Lavenderstar now ruled, and while he was still young and maintained childish aspects to his personality, his quick mind and eagerness appeared to make him well-suited for the position. He had been leader for 5 moons, longer than the other current leaders despite his younger age. |
