full • at first glance, whitefoot's name seems like a bit of a misnomer; her feet are all nearly black, while her body is a creamy off-white. her face, ears and tail share the same tar-dipped appearance, giving her a rather elegant coat. it is often difficult to see her mouth under all the dark fur, but there's often not much to discern from the focused expression whitefoot is often seen wearing.
but all that said, she was not named for her fur color. whitefoot, despite her large appearance, is actually not that heavily built; her long fur bulks out her form considerably. she was named for her exceptional speed as a young warrior, although it has admittedly suffered a bit over the moons.
positives (at least three)
+ loyal. whitefoot's life is dedicated to thunderclan, and ensuring it prospers. she believes thunderclan to be the most righteous, deserving, and honorable clan of all, and values every cat in it. she is patient with apprentices, and constantly willing to do
+ self-disciplined & responsible. whitefoot spends much of her time hunting
negatives (at least three)
- righteous. whitefoot's loyalty to thunderclan can surpass healthy habits, at times. she believes thunderclan to be the most righteous, deserving, and honorable clan of all, and looks down upon anyone who is not a part of it.

whitefoot was the third and last kit born one spring evening to couple lilyfeather and gorsepelt. it was the couple's second and last litter; all three sisters were delivered smoothly, much to their parents' (and the clan's) delight. two white kits, and one deep brown tortoiseshell kit, set apart from the others.
whitekit was an introvert, and she was quiet, but she was certainly not shy or timid. she was often confused, as a kit, seemingly spacing off often. as she grew, this quickly turned to obedience. from an early age, whitekit held great pride in her inevitable future as a thunderclan warrior, absorbing the spirits of heroic stories she was told like a sponge.
though generally obedient, whitekit wasn't a goody-two-paws. she was as playful a kit as any, and her eagerness to start apprenticeship was only more incentive to sneak out of camp and prove herself... and also train to be whitestar, thunderclan leader, of course. one could never start preparing too early.
from her youth, she had made a few good friends, but her bond with lizardkit was thick. they had been born one week apart, and the other she-kit was the first friend she made that wasn't her littermate--and likewise for lizardkit. throughout kithood, they were the best of friends, and whitekit thought they truly brought out the best in one another. she couldn't fathom the idea of not going through her apprenticeship with lizardkit at her side, and she knew lizardkit felt the same. the two were inseparable.
now, as she aged, whitekit was not bullied per se, but she became overwhelmed more and more easily with interaction with anyone who was not lizardkit. most of her time, then, was spent with her best friend, and whitekit fell out of closeness with her siblings for a while.
by the time they were apprentices, whitepaw and lizardpaw were a well-known pair--one could not walk past them without getting a strange glance, hearing a giggle and kittish chitter exchanged just out of earshot. it was clear their friendship was thicker than honey, and their mentors could scarcely get them each out of the dens without one another in the mornings. it was not an uncommon sight to see halfear calling for her apprentice during that first moon in the early dawn hours, unable to gather her for training, as she had already snuck off to follow lizardpaw & her mentor.
the two received firm reprimanding, but hardly seemed phased by their duties picking ticks or replacing bedding together--for them, it seemed anything could be made into something fun, if the other was present. and so, halfear & briarfur began simply scheduling dual training sessions more often, to make their apprentices cooperate.
when lizardpaw was almost 8 moons old, she was unexpectedly killed in a border skirmish when a thunderclan hunting party clashed with a riverclan patrol.
whitepaw did not believe it, at first. she wouldn't believe it until she saw the body herself. that night, and the following nights--until she got caught, and caught again, and the realized she was just going to keep trying--whitepaw left camp to the scene of the accident, and stayed there until she knew her mentor would notice her missing from the den at sunrise.
her mentor was... a senior warrior, one who pushed her tough to deal with her feelings and focus on how she could help the clan. they were not uncaring, but instead told her outright about loss.
